Las Perdices 1030 is a DS49 social housing development in Peñalolén, Santiago. The project was handled end-to-end — from concept design to final documentation — including municipal applications for new-build construction permits.
Working within the DS49 framework demands a rigorous standardization approach: optimized floor plans, efficient unit repetition and coordination with the site's conditions. The development is organized in apartment wings of up to four storeys plus a roof level, with outdoor circulation and sunshades responding to orientation.
The work is built and in use, with landscaping and universal accessibility resolved in the interior public space. It belongs to the DS49 series alongside Nueva Habana (La Florida): two developments under the same design logic, regulations and construction reality.
